Pop-Break Live: Basia Bulat at The Bowery Ballroom
Canadian indie, folk, and soul songstress Basia Bulat tore the house down with her amazing voice, and autoharp on Friday night, April 1.
Bulat, who has been releasing music since 2007, has shared the stage with artists such as: Arcade Fire, The National, Nick Cave, Daniel Lanois, St. Vincent, Sufjan Stevens, Beirut, Destroyer, Tune-Yards, The Tallest Man On Earth, and Andrew Bird.
Basia’s fourth and more pop driven album, Good Advice, was produced by My Morning Jacket’s frontman Jim James and released in February of this year.
She is known for playing the autoharp, charango, piano, or ukulele. Pop-Break’s Saidy Lopez caught Bulat in action.
