PB: What are your thoughts on the bands you’re performing with Only Living Boy and Ruby the Hatchet?

BY: Really awesome rock ‘n’ roll bands. I love them.

PB: People have seen you perform in a band setting with Sikamor Rooney, Atlantic Atlantic and Low Flying Jets. How will your set at The Downtown as just Brad York differ from what you’ve done with these bands in terms of performance and style of music you’ll be performing?

BY: Well, I’ll be playing songs from all projects. Choosing whatever songs work best acoustic and together collectively. Sikamor Rooney songs tend to work best solo, though.

PB: What can we expect from you — in terms of your bands and yourself as a solo performer in the near future?

BY: You can expect much more music from all three bands. A new Atlantic Atlantic EP is coming out along with another animated music video. Low Flying Jets is in discussion now about a possible reunion show.

PB: Finally, a question I ask everyone performing at MAD Wednesday — what’s your opinion of the current state of the Jersey Shore original music scene?

BY: It’s hot. So many great bands and people. I love beings part of it.
